Summary
Virginia Public Procurement Act; historic landmarks; preference for goods and services from the United States. Providesthat, in determining the award of any contract for maintenance, renovation,repair, or reconstruction of any property designated as a historicallandmark by the Board of Historic Resources or any contract for goodsor services incidental to such maintenance, renovation, repair, orreconstruction, a public body shall give preference to goods producedor services provided by persons located in the United States or anyof its territories, so long as the bid price on such goods or ofsuch person is not more than 20 percent greater than the bid priceon goods produced or of a low responsive and responsible bidderlocated outside of the United States or any of its territories.
