Added a prohibition against insurers charging higher premiums or additional expenses if an insured selects a primary care physician in accordance with the new physical therapist provisions.
Added a specific clause ensuring physical therapists cannot practice outside their defined scope of practice under the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
Updated the effective date for the new cost-sharing restrictions to January 1, 2027, for plans renewed or entered into on or after that date.
