American Pharmaceutical Security Act

The report must evaluate potential strategies, such as establishing price floors to support domestic manufacturing and prioritizing domestically produced ingredients over foreign ones when available. Additionally, the legislation mandates that the agency identify any gaps in current data regarding the origin and ownership of these critical materials to help implement the proposed recommendations.
