National Commission on Robotics Act

This bill establishes the Commission on American Leadership in Robotics, an independent body designed to study robotics' impact on the U.S. economy, trade, and national security. The commission will consist of 18 members appointed by congressional leaders and the President, who will review domestic competitiveness, supply chain risks, and workforce needs while considering international trends. Over a two-year period, the group will gather information from federal agencies and private partners to produce interim and final reports with recommendations for Congress and the executive branch. The commission will operate as a temporary legislative advisory committee with specific powers to hire staff, accept non-monetary gifts, and utilize federal resources before dissolving once its final report is submitted.
