SERVE Act

The SERVE Act aims to improve military recruitment by enhancing access for high schools. It requires military recruiters to visit schools at least four times yearly during peak hours (like lunch or athletic events) and mandates schools to share student contact info with recruiters. The bill creates a new JROTC partnership model allowing students at schools without JROTC to join nearby units, and establishes "HERO schools" for high schools with above-average military enlistment rates. These schools receive priority consideration for military academy admissions, while the Act also designates the first week of April as National Week of Military Recruitment.
