HR 9614 United States House · 119th Congress

NRC Staff Pay Alignment Act

The NRC Staff Pay Alignment Act allows the Nuclear Regulatory Commission chairman to set the salaries of career appointees at up to 110 percent of the maximum pay rate for Senior Executive Service positions. This authority applies to all career appointees regardless of when they were hired and does not interfere with existing performance appraisal systems. The bill also updates related sections of the Atomic Energy Act to track the number of employees receiving this adjusted compensation and amends a separate law regarding a Government Accountability Office report.
