Prioritizing Warfighters in Defense Contracting Act

This bill allows the Secretary of Defense to include specific restrictions in defense contracts valued at $100 million or more. Under these terms, contractors would be prohibited from buying back their own stock, paying dividends to shareholders, or paying executives more than $5 million annually if they fail to meet contract deadlines, exceed budgets, or produce goods too slowly. The law applies to new contracts signed after its enactment and aims to hold large defense companies accountable for performance issues by limiting certain financial rewards.
