Secure Aluminum Supply Chains Act

The Secure Aluminum Supply Chains Act requires the United States International Trade Commission to investigate and report on national security risks related to U.S. exports of aluminum scrap to Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. This report must be submitted to Congress within 180 days of the law's enactment and should include recommendations on how to address any identified threats. During the review, the Commission is required to consult with private aluminum producers, metal recyclers, and labor organizations involved in the industry.
