Timely Agreements Act

The Timely Agreements Act requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to approve or reject proposals from State veterans homes regarding shared healthcare resources, such as pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, within 60 days of receipt. If the Department fails to make a decision by that deadline, the proposal is automatically considered approved. Additionally, the bill ensures that providing care to eligible veterans without a formal agreement in place will not be counted as an inspection violation or deficiency. These changes aim to streamline administrative processes and prevent delays in accessing necessary healthcare services for veterans.
