Securities and Exchange Commission Real Estate Leasing Authority Revocation Act

This bill prohibits the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from independently leasing new general-purpose office space after enactment, ending its prior authority to do so. It exempts existing leases signed before the law's effective date. The bill also requires the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to update a 2016 report, reviewing federal agencies' leasing authorities - including the SEC's - and assessing how many agencies use the General Services Administration for leasing.
