The NOTAM Improvement Act of 2023 establishes a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) task force to review and improve how aviation safety alerts (NOTAMs) are presented to pilots. The task force, composed of air carriers, airports, pilot and dispatcher unions, FAA staff, aviation safety experts, and cybersecurity specialists, will evaluate current NOTAM systems and recommend changes to prioritize critical information, ensure accuracy, and enhance usability.
