Special Inspector General for Ukraine Assistance Act

This bill establishes an independent Office of the Special Inspector General (SIG) to oversee U.S. military and nonmilitary aid to Ukraine. The SIG will conduct audits and investigations into how funds are spent, track obligations and contracts, and monitor compliance with end-use requirements - reporting quarterly to Congress and the Secretaries of State and Defense. Key provisions include authority to issue subpoenas without interference from other agencies, mandatory public reporting of fund usage (including comparisons with NATO allies' support), and a $70 million annual budget. The office terminates 180 days after unspent aid funds fall below $250 million, requiring a final audit before closing.
