Summit of the Americas Act

This bill authorizes the U.S. State Department to organize the Summit of the Americas every four years (or more frequently) with Western Hemisphere nations, including a separate Cities Summit to engage local city and state leaders from participating countries. It designates a State Department coordinator to track U.S. commitments from past summits and report annually to Congress on implementation progress. The law aims to strengthen regional cooperation through regular diplomatic events and improved follow-through on agreements, with reports required for five years after enactment.
