CONSTRUCTS Act of 2024

The CONSTRUCTS Act of 2024 establishes a federal grant program to expand residential construction career training at community colleges and career schools. Priority is given to projects serving rural communities or underserved populations - defined as groups with low construction sector employment, low income, or employment barriers. Grants must include flexible scheduling, partnerships with construction businesses, and support services like childcare to help participants earn credentials and enter the workforce, with funds authorized for fiscal years 2025-2029.
