Student Loan Forgiveness for Farmers and Ranchers Act

This bill creates a new student loan forgiveness program for farmers and ranchers under the Higher Education Act. It allows borrowers to have their Federal Direct Stafford, PLUS, or Unsubsidized loans fully forgiven after making 120 qualifying payments while working full-time as a farmer, rancher, or manager at a qualified farm or ranch (verified via USDA forms). Eligibility requires being a beginning farmer, underrepresented in agriculture (e.g., minority/women), socially disadvantaged, or a veteran farmer. The program cancels all remaining principal and interest upon completion of the required employment period, with strict rules for maintaining eligibility and no readmission after removal.
