It mandates the release of specific information, including property-level risk assessments, claims history, whether properties were built before/after flood maps, and details on properties with repeated flooding ("multiple-loss properties"). Communities participating in the NFIP must also have a searchable database showing compliance status, flood-risk property counts, and mitigation efforts. All data will be provided at a neighborhood level (zip code or census block) without revealing personal owner information, enabling public access for research and transparency.
