Res. 136) providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "Multi-Pollutant Emissions Standards for Model Years 2027 and Later Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Vehicles".
This House resolution is a procedural measure that allows the Speaker to schedule seven separate bills and one joint resolution for debate and consideration in the House of Representatives. The bills cover diverse policy areas including higher education accreditation standards, securities law disclosure requirements, labeling for goods from the West Bank or Gaza, retirement plan investment criteria, immigration restrictions for individuals with certain criminal convictions, and a veto of EPA vehicle emissions standards. The resolution establishes specific rules for debate time, amendment procedures, and points of order for each bill, but does not itself create new policy or change any laws.
