Original Prince Hall Commemorative Stamp Act
This bill directs the U.S. Postal Service to issue a commemorative semipostal stamp honoring Prince Hall, a prominent African American leader and founder of Prince Hall Freemasonry. All additional revenue from the stamp's sale (above standard postage cost) will fund Federal Pell Grants for low-income students under the Higher Education Act of 1965. The stamp will be available for two years, from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026, with proceeds specifically designated for Pell Grants and not counted toward other education funding decisions. It directly benefits students seeking federal financial aid through Pell Grants.
