Denying Pensions to Convicted Child Molesters Act of 2023

This bill denies federal retirement pensions to current or former federal employees convicted of specific child molestation offenses under federal law (as defined in Title 18). It prohibits pension payments based on service creditable toward retirement for those convicted of qualifying crimes committed on or after the bill's enactment date. The bill requires the Attorney General to notify agencies of convictions and mandates that forfeited pension funds be paid to victims as ordered by a court. It also blocks payments for individuals avoiding prosecution by remaining outside the U.S. for over a year and allows pension restoration if pardoned by the President.
