Health Care Fairness for All Act

HR 3129, the Health Care Fairness for All Act, repeals the individual and employer health insurance mandates established under the Affordable Care Act. The bill provides states with increased flexibility to regulate health insurance outside of health insurance exchanges while maintaining certain consumer protections like coverage for pre-existing conditions and dependent coverage through age 26. It introduces a new health insurance tax credit to help individuals afford coverage and changes Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to be non-deductible. The bill also includes Medicare reforms such as promoting site-neutral payments and extending acute hospital care at home programs.
