End the Congressional Revolving Door Act
This bill prohibits former Members of Congress or senior congressional employees who become registered lobbyists from receiving certain federal benefits while employed as lobbyists. Specifically, it blocks eligibility for retirement benefits (including Thrift Savings Plan), health insurance, and life insurance coverage during any month they work as a lobbyist. The law applies to individuals who held senior roles (defined by pay thresholds) after the bill's enactment and transition to registered lobbying under existing laws. It does not affect lump-sum payments or nonforfeitable retirement account balances already accrued.
