HR 10532 United States House · 118th Congress

No PAC Act

This bill would prevent candidates running for the U.S. House or Senate from accepting campaign contributions from outside political action committees (PACs), allowing them only to receive funds from their own authorized campaign committees. It also prohibits these candidates from establishing leadership PACs - committees they personally create to raise independent funds. The rules would take effect for elections held after 2024. The bill directly affects congressional candidates seeking election to the House or Senate.
