DRIP Act of 2022
Summary
Drought Relief through Innovative Projects Act of 2022 or the DRIP Act of 20 22 This bill directs the Department of Agriculture to establish a competitive grant program to (1) remove nonnative plant species in riparian areas that contribute to drought conditions, (2) replace those nonnative plant species with native plant species, and (3) maintain and monitor riparian areas in which nonnative plant species have been removed and replaced.
