Relating to expedited credentialing of certain chiropractors by managed care plan issuers.

SB 832 allows chiropractors joining an established professional practice with an existing managed care contract to be treated as in-network providers during credentialing. Once they submit required documentation, insurers must pay them as if they're already in-network (including collecting copays) while their application is processed. This applies only to chiropractors already licensed in Texas and in good standing with the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. The bill protects patients by preventing them from being charged extra if credentialing later fails, and limits insurer liability for following this process. It takes effect September 1, 2025.
