Relating to countywide polling places.

SB 2151 would allow Texas counties to replace neighborhood voting locations with single countywide polling places for specific elections, including county elections, joint elections with other counties, and elections held under contract. It requires political parties to agree for primary elections and mandates that each countywide location uses a full county voter list instead of precinct-specific lists. The bill applies to all elections held under county authority, excluding general elections not covered by these categories. It takes effect September 1, 2025.
