Relating to the purchase of service credit by certain members of the Employees Retirement System of Texas.

Members can now establish service credit for each month of the 90-day waiting period regardless of whether they made contributions during that period

New subsection (f) clarifies that if service credit is purchased for a month before the most recent hiring date, the hiring date is considered the first day of that earliest month for service credit purposes

New subsection (g) requires the retirement system to compute deposit amounts in a way that does not result in an actuarial loss to the system
