Alcoholic Beverages - As enacted, permits a retail licensee, beginning July 1, 2014, to sell at retail items related to or incidental to the use, consumption, dispensing, or storage of alcoholic beverages, including any hemp or hemp-derived cannabinoid product for which all required licenses, permits, or certificates have been obtained authorizing the sale of such product within this state. - Amends TCA Title 57, Chapter 3 and Title 57, Chapter 5.

This law allows retail stores that already have a license to sell beer to also sell hemp-derived products, such as CBD items, starting in 2014. The bill requires that these stores must have all necessary state permits to sell the hemp products before they can be offered alongside alcoholic beverages. Additionally, the legislation clarifies that beer retailers can deliver and install their authorized products at locations outside their own licensed premises. It also prohibits these stores from charging extra fees specifically for the consumption of beer or alcoholic beverages on-site.
