Law Enforcement - As introduced, requires a school resource officer who suspects that a student has committed a delinquent act, unruly conduct, or a criminal offense, to inform the student that the student's parent or legal guardian may be present prior to a formal interview or interrogation and, if requested by the student, withhold questioning until the student's parent or legal guardian has arrived; creates an exception to the requirement if exigent circumstances existed at the time of the interview or interrogation. - Amends TCA Title 37 and Title 49.
