Short Term Loans and Lenders - As introduced, changes from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the time at which title pledge lender offices must close for business certain days of the year; allows title pledge lender offices to open on Sundays; allows a title pledge lender to pursue a judgment to recover from a pledgor a balance that remains outstanding following application of proceeds from a sale of titled personal property due to the pledgor’s default or failure to redeem; permits deferred presentment agreements to provide for an extension of the agreement upon payment of the fee by the maker of the check. - Amends TCA Title 45.
