HB 275 Tennessee House · 113th Regular Session (2023-2024)

Public Health - As enacted, applies on a statewide basis, rather than only in Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Memphis, the distance parameter for the prohibition on needle and hypodermic syringe exchange programs being operated within 1,000 feet of a school or public park; removes the distance parameter of 2,000 feet that presently applies on a statewide basis outside those four cities; provided, however, that such a program established in Kingsport must not conduct an exchange within 2,000 feet of a school or public park. - Amends TCA Title 68.
