Education, Higher - As introduced, requires a faculty member appointed or selected to serve on a standing committee of the University of Tennessee board of trustees, the advisory board of a University of Tennessee institution, the board of regents, or a state university board of trustees to be confirmed by the general assembly before beginning a term of office; changes, from May 31 to January 31, the date by which a faculty member must be appointed or selected to serve on a standing committee of the University of Tennessee board of trustees or the advisory board of a University of Tennessee institution; requires a faculty member appointed to fill a vacancy on the committee and boards to be confirmed by the general assembly. - Amends TCA Title 49.
