Scholarships and Financial Aid - As enacted, makes revisions to law relative to the Tennessee future teacher scholarship. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 4, Part 7.

This bill updates the rules for the Tennessee Future Teacher Scholarship to include students attending specific private nonprofit colleges. To qualify, these private schools must have a partnership with the state, be regionally accredited, use a competency-based education model, and maintain a physical campus in Tennessee. The change allows students at these approved institutions to receive the scholarship while keeping their eligibility for the Tennessee HOPE scholarship if they maintain the required grade point average. The law applies to scholarships awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year and all subsequent years.
