Criminal Offenses - As introduced, creates the offense of assault against a law enforcement officer, correctional officer, guard, jailer, or other full-time employee of a penal institution, private detention facility, local jail, or workhouse; increases the penalty for aggravated assault against those persons when they are discharging or attempting to discharge their official duties. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 13; Title 40 and Title 41.
