Mental Illness - As introduced, requires the commissioner of mental health and substance abuse services to report on the pilot program for assisted outpatient treatment in Knox County to the health committee of the house of representatives and the health and welfare committee of the senate by February 15, 2018; the report shall make findings on the benefits and costs of the program; the report shall also make recommendations concerning any beneficial legislation concerning assisted outpatient treatment and the existing mandatory outpatient treatment statute. - Amends TCA Title 33.
