A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 9-11-115 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A NON-VESTED MEMBER OF THE POLICE OFFICER'S RETIREMENT SYSTEM WHO DIES IN THE LINE OF DUTY SHALL RECEIVE A ONE-TIME LUMP SUM BENEFIT PAYMENT.
