A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 44-1-320 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE OFFICE OF THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL, TO ESTABLISH AND ADMINISTER A STATEWIDE FIREFIGHTER OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAM TO TEST FOR CERTAIN CARCINOGENIC SUBSTANCES AND TO PROVIDE HEALTH AND CANCER SCREENINGS, ALL AT NO CHARGE, TO FIREFIGHTERS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
