Summary
A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS SO AS TO ENACT THE "SOUTH CAROLINA INCLUSIONARY ZONING ACT"; BY ADDING SECTION 6-7-510 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY'S FINDINGS; AND BY ADDING SECTION 6-7-520 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT COUNTIES AND MUNICIPALITIES ARE AUTHORIZED TO USE INCLUSIONARY ZONING STRATEGIES TO INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
