A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING ARTICLE 5 TO CHAPTER 11, TITLE 9 SO AS TO CREATE THE "POLICE OFFICER RETENTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM"; AND BY AMENDING SECTION 8-11-620, RELATING TO LEAVE AND LUMP-SUM PAYMENTS PERMITTED UPON TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT, DEATH, OR RETIREMENT OF EMPLOYEES, SO AS TO INCLUDE THE POLICE OFFICER RETENTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM.
