A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-18-1650 SO AS TO PROVIDE WHEN THE STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION ASSUMES CONTROL OF A SCHOOL DISTRICT UNDER A STATE OF EMERGENCY PURSUANT TO THE EDUCATION ACCOUNTABILITY ACT, HE SHALL PROVIDE THE LOCAL LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION WITH A QUARTERLY REPORT DETAILING THE PROGRESS OF THE DISTRICT TOWARD MEETING ANNUAL TARGETS IN THE DISTRICT STRATEGIC PLAN FOR SUSTAINED IMPROVEMENT.
