A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 37-3-302, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO RECEIPTS FOR PAYMENTS ON CONSUMER LOANS, SO AS TO REQUIRE THE CREDITOR TO DELIVER OR MAIL A PERIODIC STATEMENT WITHIN TEN DAYS OF THE SUBMISSION OF A PAYMENT AND TO REQUIRE THAT CERTAIN STATEMENTS SHOW THE REMAINING BALANCE ON THE LOAN AND THE AMOUNT OF THE PAYMENT APPLIED TO THE PRINCIPAL BALANCE AND INTEREST ON THE LOAN.
