A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 1-6-35 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE INSPECTOR GENERAL TO CONDUCT FINANCIAL AND FORENSIC AUDITS OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND TO PROVIDE A PENALTY FOR AN EMPLOYEE WHO REFUSES TO COOPERATE WITH THE AUDIT; AND TO AMEND SECTION 1-6-10, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS APPLYING TO THE OFFICE OF THE STATE INSPECTOR GENERAL, SO AS TO MAKE A CONFORMING CHANGE.
