A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 9-1-580(A) OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE OPTION OF CERTAIN HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES, TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSONS EMPLOYED BY A HOSPITAL THAT IS AN EMPLOYER UNDER THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEM BY APPLICATION MAY ELECT NOT TO BECOME MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
