A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-26-35 SO AS TO PROVIDE TEACHER CANDIDATES IN TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS SHALL COMPLETE STUDENT TEACHING REQUIREMENTS BEFORE THEY MAY TAKE EXAMINATIONS THAT MEASURE GENERAL PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE (PEDAGOGY) REQUIRED FOR TEACHER CERTIFICATION; AND TO MAKE THESE PROVISIONS EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2021.
