A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 2-20-320, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO FILLING VACANCIES ON THE GOVERNING BOARDS OF SOUTH CAROLINA'S STATE-SUPPORTED COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON IS INELIGIBLE TO SERVE ON ONE OF THE BOARDS OR COMMISSIONS ENUMERATED IN SECTION 2-20-320 IF, WITHIN THE PREVIOUS TWELVE MONTHS, THAT PERSON MADE A CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION TO A MEMBER OF OR A CANDIDATE FOR THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
