A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 17-22-180 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE A CIRCUIT SOLICITOR TO DESIGNATE A SUMMARY COURT JUDGE TO OVERSEE A PRETRIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAM FOR OFFENSES TRIABLE IN SUMMARY COURT AND TO REQUIRE THE SOLICITOR AND SUMMARY COURT JUDGE TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS.
