A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 59-63-30, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE PROVISION ALLOWING CHILDREN TO QUALIFY TO ATTEND SCHOOL IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN WHICH THEY OWN PROPERTY WITH AN ASSESSED VALUE OF THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS OR MORE, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT EFFECTIVE BEGINNING WITH THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR, A STUDENT MAY NOT SO QUALIFY UNLESS HE ATTENDED SCHOOL IN THAT DISTRICT BY QUALIFYING UNDER THESE PROVISIONS DURING THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR.
