A BILL TO AMEND ARTICLE 43, CHAPTER 5, TITLE 56 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE UNIFORM ACT REGULATING TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAYS, BY ADDING SECTION 56-5-6195, TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY MAY IMPOSE A FINE OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS IN ADDITION TO THOSE PENALTIES PROVIDED IN SECTION 56-5-6190 IF A PERSON IS TRAVELING AT A SPEED OF OVER SEVENTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR ON A TWO-LANE HIGHWAY OR AT A SPEED OF OVER EIGHTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR ON A FOUR-LANE HIGHWAY.
