A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 9-1-1085, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION RATES, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT, BEGINNING JULY 1, 2019, ALL NEW EMPLOYEES SHALL PARTICIPATE IN A DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN, AND TO REQUIRE THE PARTICIPATING EMPLOYERS OF THE SYSTEM TO APPROPRIATE CERTAIN FUNDS.
