A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 44-53-520, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE FORFEITURE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY, SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE TRANSFER OF SEIZED ASSETS FROM STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO FEDERAL AGENCIES WITHOUT A COURT ORDER AND TO PROVIDE THAT ALL PROCEEDS FROM DRUG SEIZURES TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE GENERAL FUND TO BE DISPERSED TO CERTAIN SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
