A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-19-120 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY TRANSACTION BY ANYONE ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS OF OPERATING A JUNK YARD OR SALVAGE YARD THAT INVOLVES A JUNK AUTOMOBILE OR SALVAGE AUTOMOBILE AS DEFINED IN 28 C.F.R. 25.52 MUST BE REPORTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES IN AN ELECTRONIC FORMAT AND TO PROVIDE A PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS PROVISION.
